Who We Are
Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums is responsible for twelve museums, galleries and heritage sites; two of which are recognised as world heritage sites. We hold collections of international importance in archives, art, science and technology, archaeology, military and social history, fashion and natural sciences.
Many people commit to providing a continually innovative and successful organisation on behalf of the people of Tyne and Wear. Below are some examples of the ways in which Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums is governed and managed.
