You can see the exhibition and play the games too! Board games are on hand for visitors of all ages. These include Chess, Senet and examples of other ancient games.

QCA Unit 22: A contrasting locality. Looking at different continents and countries. Learn about games and customs from across the globe, dress up and make a chess piece!

Key Stage 2

* Ancient Egypt
History Unit 2: What can we find out about ancient Egypt from what has survived? Learn all about the Ancient Egyptians and their customs, such as mummification and the afterlife and make your own Senet game!

* Citizenship & Numeracy
Citizenship Unit 8: How do rules and laws affect me? National Numeracy Strategy: problem solving; mathematical thinking and reasoning skills Develop strategic thinking through tactical game play, consider the importance of rules and develop accurate mathematical recording skills
