Evening Functions and Receptions

Arbeia's Commanding Officer's house can be hired for evening events, PR events and corporate functions. The courtyard area provides a wonderful outdoor reception area while the main hall is ideal for indoor dining.

Guests can enjoy the unique privilege of a private view of the reconstructed Commanding Officer's house and barrack block. Each room is decorated in authentic Roman style with colourful wall murals and replica furniture. The excavated Fort area can also be viewed, along with the famous reconstructed gateway and a fine Museum, containing some of the most remarkable Roman finds in the North East.

Arbeia has proved a popular location for private parties, especially in the summer months, when the venue provides an excellent location for outdoor receptions and barbeques.

And of course, Arbeia is the perfect place to hold your Roman-themed event!
