There are many ways in which people of all ages can get involved in the life of Discovery Museum. Opportunities through classes, activities, volunteering and friends' groups occur throughout the year.

Volunteers

There are plenty of volunteering opportunities available whether you would like to act as a guide, work with the learning department on family fun days or catalogue information.

Associates of Discovery Museum

The Associates are an invaluable group of science and technology enthusiasts who encourage children to share their passion through workshops. A hands on approach is taken to these activities and there will often be rockets flying or chemicals fizzing at these demonstrations.
