Join storyteller Christine Watkins for a free stoytelling session in Discovery's Great Hall where artist Julian Meredith is creating a giant print installation.
Skid and the Starshark is a story set in a museum - a very different kind of museum to Discovery Museum - a sleepy, ramshackle old place with lots of forgotten corners. Up in the attic storeroom where no visitors ever go are cases full of the fossils of strange forgotten sea creatures – and the biggest and strangest of all is Skid.
Skid and the Starshark is the story of what happens on the night two children tiptoe up the winding staircase to the dusty attic storeroom and decide to set Skid free...
