North East Beat

A new exhibition exploring the North East's popular music scene from the 1940s to the present day.
The exhibition features a range of memorabilia, photos and objects loaned by bands, musicians and fans and is complemented bya series of live music events at Discovery Museum.
On Saturday 14 November is North East Beat Unsigned, a day of live music with some of the region's rising stars.
On Saturday 21 November Discovery's Great Hall will be host to a Bob Marley Tribute evening.
And to round off the month on Tuesday 24 November, Chris Phipps will host North East Beat on the Box: The Tube 1982 Uncut.
