North East Beat

A new exhibition exploring the North East's popular music scene from the 1940s to the present day.
The exhibition features a range of memorabilia, photos and objects loaned by bands, musicians and fans and is complemented by a series of live music events at Discovery Museum.
On Saturday 14 November is North East Beat Unsigned, a day of live music with some of the region's rising stars.
On Saturday 21 November Discovery's Great Hall will be host to a Bob Marley Tribute evening.
And to round off the month on Tuesday 24 November, Chris Phipps will host North East Beat on the Box: The Tube 1982 Uncut.
