This exciting new exhibition will celebrate family histories of local people and equip people with the necessary skills to research their own family trees and bring together a collection of family histories from Tyne and Wear. The exhibition will give local people the opportunity to learn more about their local history. Specially trained family historians and volunteers will offer help with searches within Tyne & Wear Archives, located at Discovery Museum. 

The exhibition will be touring other Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums venues, including Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens and South Shields Museum & Art Gallery.
