The EYE Project provides opportunities for people to get to know the North East of England through recording the wildlife they see around them. The project aims to improve access to wildlife information to assist with planning for the future of the natural environment and to help everyone discover the region's natural heritage on their doorstep.

One of the most important ways that you can help to protect the environment is to record the animals you see by using this website. With your help, we can build up a picture of how the natural environment is changing across the region.
