Future Life
Why not have a look at what the future holds for us, and dads!
This is what we think the Future holds for Dads and Family Men
Family men will stay at home and spend a lot of their time with the family. Hobbies won't change a lot, football will be the main sport to play and watch, with teams from around the universe competing in the Astro Cup, while the virtual cinema, which allows you to go inside the movies, will be a popular past-time for families.
Family holidays are going to be even better, space shuttles will allow travel to Mars or Jupiter, and they have superb beaches! And for a relaxing holiday here on earth, many families can take the undersea world cruise, a highlight being the lost city of Atlantis.
Double Dads
Instead of going off to work themselves, family men will send their robot replica to get his mechanical fingers dirty while he stays at home. These 'robo'-dads are a perfect copy of him and carry out his daily work.
The robots don't need to eat or sleep and can work for around 9 hours straight. The robots are experts at Dads' jobs and will never make mistakes. When they have finished working they return home and have to re-charge, ready for the next day.
The 'Holo-Phone'
Family men in the past may have had to travel really far to attend conferences or meetings, but the development of the 'Holo-Phone,' allows them to hold 'holographic' conferences, allowing everyone to stay at home and just project themselves to a meeting!
The 'Holo-Phone' allows a person to talk, and see each other as if they were standing right there, so just remember to make yourself presentable before you answer a call!
Hover Board
After its first appearance in the 20th Century film "Back to the Future 2", the hover board made a big impact on children across the globe. The hover board, available in various sizes and speeds, is a best selling toy and has replaced the bicycle as the favourite method of personal transportation.
Amphibian Car
You may remember in those old James Bond movies that there was a car that worked underwater; well car manufacturers have developed the first real "Underwater" car. This means that you can truly take your car on holiday, rivers, lakes and even small stretches of sea are no problem anymore!
I-Contact
Revolutionary contact lenses that are voice activated, project information directly into your eye. The highly advanced lenses can display maps, information and images which you may need when on holiday or happen to get lost. They also allow you to watch television, beamed directly into your eye.
What did you say?
A tiny microchip worn in the ear will allow people to understand every language in the world. As the persons voice reaches your ear, the chip translates their language almost instantaneously!
