This specimen was described as part of the Thunda meteorite that fell at Thunda, Windorah, Queensland, Australia, on the original Gregory, Bottley and Co. label. This attribution has been discredited, and the origin of this meteorite is unknown. It appears to be of metallic iron/nickel composition, with white/yellow inclusions apparently rich in silicate minerals. It measures 31 x 19 x 17mm, and weighs 17.5g. From the C.T. Trechmann collection.
The specimen was found in Australia.
