Your donation will support inspirational learning and community programmes for children and families at the Great North Museum: Hancock.
It will mean that over 30,000 school children a year and their families will be able to enjoy and learn from a diverse programme of activities and resources.
Our aim is for everyone to Be Part of It, so please show your

that reflects what this new museum means to you.

to make it worth more to us, at no extra cost to you. For every
pound you donate, the Inland Revenue will give us an extra 28p at

If you make an online donation, we will reproduce your name on the donor wall exactly as you enter it in the online form. Please write clearly and check your spelling. The Be Part if It campaign is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of something special right from the very beginning. Here is an idea of how your donation can make a Great Big difference:
£20 will support the development unique resources for children and young people such as handling objects and costumes.
£50 will help inspire children, young people and their families to participate in a variety of innovative events and activities using storytellers, musicians and artists.
£100 will support our creative programmes for schools at all key stages using historical re-enactors and costumed interpreters.
£250 will help us provide new opportunities for families to learn together in exciting surroundings like the new Explore! gallery.
If you make a donation between now and 31 July 2009, in recognition of your support, you will have the unique opportunity to have your name (or the name of someone you love) permanently included on a donor wall in the new museum.
The name you choose to acknowledge will also be included here on this website. Once you have made a donation, we would like you to share your stories with us about why the museum is special to you.
