There are many ways in which people of all ages can get involved in the life of the Hatton Gallery. Opportunities through classes, activities, volunteering and the friends' groups occur througout the year.
Volunteers
There are plenty of volunteering opportunites available from working with the learning team on family fun days to cataloging information.
Friends of the Hatton
Being a Friend means that in addition to supporting one of the most distinguished galleries in the north of England, you will receive the following benefits:
- Invitations to previews, receptions, and parties.
- Quarterly newsletter regarding FOTH activities.
- Competitions - prizes including free tickets to other museums and galleries.
- Concessionary prices for FOTH events.
- Programmes of lectures, walks, visits, and workshops.
- Opportunity to participate in selling exhibitions organised by FOTH.
- Opportunity to gain volunteering experience in the Gallery.
Funds raised by Friends of the Hatton support the Hatton in a number of ways. In the past, the Friends have helped with the purchase of equipment for the Gallery which has assisted the staff in the conservation and care of works.
