Interested in becoming a Friend of the Hatton Gallery?

Benefits include invitations to previews, lectures and events as well as free art classes with opportunities to work from the archives of the gallery.

The art classes are open to all on the second and third Mondays of the month 2-4pm (term-time). Classes on the third Wednesday of the month 6.30pm-9pm only open to Friends of the Hatton, providing more opportunities for tuition, exploration in the use of art materials and some life drawing.

Carol Musgrove, Friend of the Hatton Gallery explains:

"At these classes I meet long standing members who are generous with their wealth of knowledge, and obvious talent to those not so experienced. Casual conversations on a Wednesday night with them about their techniques and methods, brings hope to a novice such as myself. I joined the Friends of the Hatton to develop and improve my creative skills, I believe I am doing that, and hope to feel confident enough to show at the next Friends exhibition later this year."
