Regional Museums Hub
The North East Regional Museums Hub is a partnership of Tyne & Wear Museums, Beamish Museum, The Bowes Museum, and Hartlepool Museums. MLA North East operates as a fifth partner.
The Hub is part of the national Renaissance programme for Museums established by the Museums Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) in 2003.
This transformational programme has already enjoyed significant success, bringing record numbers of people into museums and enabling greater access to collections.
This website is currently under development and once complete will provide information to museums and other interested parties about the strong and varied renaissance programme in this region.
