Renaissance in the Regions
The North East Regional Museums Hub is a partnership established in 2003 between Tyne & Wear Museums (as Hub Leader), Beamish: the North of England Open Air Museum, The Bowes Museum and Hartlepool Museums. The partners work in close co-operation MLA North East.
There is a similar partnership in each of the eight other English regions, established under the Renaissance in the Regions scheme which is funded through MLA, the Museums Libraries and Archives Council.
A new Hub website is in development and will be available online soon.
