Painting demonstration: 1-2pm, followed by book signing
Yorkshire artist Ashley Jackson’s haunting moorlands landscapes have made him one of the country’s most successful watercolourists. To celebrate the launch of a new biography, Ashley will be holding a free painting demonstration at the Laing Art Gallery, followed by a book signing, where you can buy a copy of the new book at a discounted rate.
His unique evocative and distinctive paintings of brooding moorlands have become synonymous with Yorkshire and have been exhibited worldwide.
