This summer, the Laing Art Gallery will run a series of workshops lead by contemporary artists and gallery staff, exploring different artistic practices and asking, what, exactly, is art?



Sessions will take place on Tuesdays 3, 10, 17 & 24 August.



The summer school is free, and is open to all students who are interested in or curious aboutwhat art is, who makes art and what, exactly, goes on in a gallery.

Students are welcome tocome to all sessions or just to the one that interests them the most. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
