What does the sea mean to you?
"The sea- it’s fascinating"
The sea- it’s fascinating. That’s all I can say. When I’m at work, I come out in the morning, and no matter where I look, there’s water, for the time I’m offshore. I walk around the platform, look over the side, just water and I’ve seen it in some really nasty, really nasty weather and I’ve seen it when it’s been as calm as a millpond, glassy, beautiful. When I get home, I’m never happier than when I am down the brigade or am at the seaside. I love it. I know- I’ve got respect for the sea, a lot of respect for the sea because I’ve seen the damage it does.
