"I love putting the light on, I love running the machines up, blowing the foghorn"
I love putting the light on, I love running the machines up, blowing the foghorn. I actually like working with school children as well, because they’re fascinated. They’re fascinated by the lighthouse because they’re all excited because they’re want to go down the lighthouse, and I like, I like to see their faces when I usually take them in the engine room and try to explain compressors and generators and things to, to children, who are, like, eight and nine years old- it’s quite hard. But I’ve got special ways of doing that and they love it. And I have them running, running around the engine room for various bits and bobs, and they have a really good time.
