Sound of the foghorn
"Obviously, obviously the foghorn. Iíve lived in Shields most of my life, born and bred here"
Obviously, obviously the foghorn. Iíve lived in Shields most of my life, born and bred here, I lived at Marsden, I still do live at Marsden, and the foghorn, when it was going off, youíd think, ďoh my God,Ē you stop, you canít get any sleep, and then one day it stopped and never went on again and you couldnít get any sleep because you couldnít hear it. So, you know, it was like an old friend, just gone, you know. Itís something, that is a sound that you get used to.
