"I still think it’s pretty low-key. We get a lot of travelling surfers from Australia, California"

I still think it’s pretty low-key. We get a lot of travelling surfers from Australia, California, and when they stay here they say it’s a good scene, you know, because there aren’t too many surfers, even though, you know, the surfers’ population has grown it’s still pretty small really, and you’ve got to be a little bit more hardcore because the water temperature here is colder than in Wales and Cornwall. So, you know, I would say it’s still a friendly place to go surfing. You know, I’d say it’s still, you know, surfing is, it’s good for the, you know, any age so the whole family can go surfing as well.
