"Sounds? Really, itís just the crashing of the waves, isnít it"
Sounds? Really, itís just the crashing of the waves, isnít it. You know, like, like, I can lie in bed and I can hear the surf, so I know itís big surf, you know. If itís, if itís, if itís onshore then itís usually only five foot or bigger that I can hear it. If itís offshore and itís big, you know, then maybe eight foot and I can hear it and Iím still lying in bed, so you know, if itís offshore, youíre in for a memorable day, you know, but when youíre actually paddling out- thatís one good thing about surfing, when youíre paddling out, itís quite still. Okay, thereís the booming of the waves when they break, break, break on the shore, but everything else is quiet, and I think thatís most peaceful, you know, itís, you know, you wonít get a better atmosphere.
