"The walking thing that I was mainly concerned with, it started off with the three of us, Arthur Giles, Ted Johnson and myself"

The walking thing that I was mainly concerned with, it started off with the three of us, Arthur Giles, Ted Johnson and myself from the inspection department and we had such a good time that people started to ask if they could come with us. And we could finish up with 20 members walking the hills, you know. And we walked in all weathers, regardless of hail, rain, snow or blow, we went there and we walked. And everyone would seem to enjoy themselves.
