Volunteering with Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade
"I think it’s really because I grew up around North Shields area"
I think it’s really because I grew up around North Shields area and most of my life I’ve been hanging around Tynemouth and North Shields and Whitley Bay and things. It’s just my local area, really, I just like giving something into the community. Being out, doing some volunteering as well, quite- feels like I get a lot from it- rather than just being at work all the time and then come and sit at home, it’s nice to come and get fresh air and do a bit of activity and things- do something for other people.
