What does the sea mean to you?
"I think it’s quite a Geordie way of life "
I think it’s quite a Geordie way of life really isn’t it. The Fish Quay and stuff like that. I mean, I probably had a few relatives in the past who have been fishermen and stuff like that. Everybody’s always been around the water- I’ve lived next to the water all my life, really, even though I’ve never actually swam. But I think if I lived anywhere I have to be near the sea- just somewhere nice and fresh to go to and nice sea view.
