Durability of the gansey
"Itís lasted really well"
Itís lasted really well. It doesnít, Iíll be honest, it doesnít get washed very often- you donít like to wash them too often because obviously if you did youíd get all the oil out of wool on the first one, so you donít like to wash it very often. But it doesnít shrink. I mean, obviously, if you stuck it in a tumble drier, yes it would so you donít put it in a tumble drier, you just wash it normally and then you either, you tend to try and dry it flat because if you donít, because of the weight of it and you saw the length of it, it would just end up like a dress. Itís really, really, really long. Itís bad enough now because it is sort of like a length so that yes, it can be rolled up to protect the kidneys, because the first one is a working gansey.
