"Well, we come on a Monday night and do your course, and once your course is finished, itís just like a social night"
Well, we come on a Monday night and do your course, and once your course is finished, itís just like a social night, you come, I mean tonight I havenít got my gear, last week I had my gear because it keeps you practiced, you know, and last week, like I say I had my gear on and I was under the water flying about backwards and forwards, and weíll just chat, and thereís the sauna and the steam room- most of the men seem to prefer the steam room to the sauna, but, but itís just a social occasion, really. And youíll arrange, ďsee you on Tuesday,Ē and things like this. Weather permitting, itís always, you know, tied in to weather permitting, you canít sort of say, ďIíll definitely go next Wednesday.Ē
I mean, one night we were all, all ready out just loading the gear in the car when the phone rang and said, ďitís off- the seaís too high,Ē so itís, itís a bit of a hit and miss sort of thing. But on a Sunday morning, weíll go up there and have our dive and then thereís a caravan that does bacon sandwiches and tea, and things like that and everyone just stands around and chats, and you know, itís really nice. And of course, like non-diving partners and children and, you know, go up and things like this, so, itís really nice.
