Family involvement in fishing
"Both sides, my husbandís and, not, not the last generation, two generations back. And that generation, great great grand parents, you see, were all fishermen "
Both sides, my husbandís and, not, not the last generation, two generations back. And that generation, great great grand parents, you see, were all fishermen then, you see, yes. On both sides- his side and mine.
And his great grandfather was Andrew Taylor, the coxswain of the lifeboat, and youíll probably have read about him. Well, my husbandís great grand father, yes.
So, you know, so thatís the connection there and I think Beris and Gareth have got that in them somehow and my son, of course, has the fishing in him, I donít know. Itís come back in the second generation, you see. Nothing in the first generation, but next generation down, but he hasnít got anybody to follow him- they donít want to go out fishing, so thatís strange, isnít it?
