Polly Donkin and the Cullercoats fisherwomen
Polly Donkin was a well known fundraiser for the Cullercoats lifeboat. She is seated in the middle of the photograph in the third row. She is surrounded by other Cullercoats fisherwomen. Jean's aunt is in the bottom left and her sister in law is on her aunt's lefthand side. The photograph was taken around 1930.

All I know is she is my great great grandma I think, my late father is David Relfe (1944-2001), his mum is Mary Relfe still alive, was Mary Brown before meeting grandad. I wish I knew more I know she met King George VI when he was prince of wales. But thats it,
