A memorable day
"I suppose for me it was me and my mate were out there surfing one day and we could see a seal it was about 200 yards away"
I suppose for me it was me and my mate were out there surfing one day and we could see a seal it was about 200 yards away and it was looking at us. And my mate caught a wave and rode it in and I was sitting there waiting for a set to come in and I started whistling at this seal because it was looking at us. And it sort of disappeared underwater but I could see it coming towards me, it was like, the wake of it was on the surface still, it popped out of the water about three feet from me and splashed me with its flipper. And with that my friend told me, he was paddling back and he was like, “what was that? What was that?” and I just couldn’t say anything because I was just laughing and a set came in, and I just caught a wave, took off, rode it in, and I was paddling back out. He was panicking completely was Tom because it had grabbed his leg and pulled him off his surfboard.
