Distinguished Service Medal

Distinguished Service Medal awarded to Jimmy for bravery during World War Two. Jimmy was serving in the Royal Navy on the HMS Ashanti when he was injured during fighting off Norway. He remained at his gun post throughout the attack, for which he was given the medal. Jimmy was the youngest person to be awarded the Distinguished Service Medal.
