"Well, I mean, see in the first, in the first two or three years, we were very, very busy, in the early 70s"

Well, I mean, see in the first, in the first two or three years, we were very, very busy, in the early 70s. I used to keep a diary and I think one of the first years I was with Doxford’s, I did twenty five trips. Some of, when I say trip, sometimes it was only a couple of days, but otherwise, other times it could be six weeks, maybe longer. A friend of mine, one of our, you know, one of my colleagues did nine months in India on a job and he said that he, because it was in India, he said he supervised every job himself and he was away nine months, so it was…my wife used to get a bit sick because I would say, “I’m only going for alignment” and I would be away six weeks, whereas, you know going of for alignment was usually there, a day’s work and back again, but it depended on what the alignment revealed and things like this.
