"I used to like the countries where they spoke English- the States is quite good, Australia, of course, New Zealand and Singapore’s nice"

I used to like the countries where they spoke English- the States is quite good, Australia, of course, New Zealand and Singapore’s nice. So not any real favourite, but I used to prefer where, where everybody, most people would speak English. Because I remember doing a job in Romania, where I was speaking English to a Romanian who spoke French and some English and he was translating into French to someone else who was then translating into Romanian so you can imagine how long the meeting went on and the number of mistakes that were made, but these are things that, you know, you had to have plenty of patience.
