"Basically, everyone starts off as crew and you go through all the training for crew"
Basically, everyone starts off as crew and you go through all the training for crew, you go on an introductory basic course down at Cowes as it was then, Poole now and then obviously further training, eventually taking over commanding the boat and helming the boat, and eventually the helms course down at Cowes for myself, and obviously that’s down at Poole as well. And then you, training establishment for the RNLI.
