Diving sounds
"Sounds? You go on a night dive and it’s pitch dark but your hearing becomes much more enhanced"
Sounds? You go on a night dive and it’s pitch dark but your hearing becomes much more enhanced, so you hear something four times better, is the scientific look at it, but believe you me it’s a lot louder than that, so you go in the water in the dark and you’re diving with a torch and you can hear [makes sounds] and you’re looking at a reef and you’re going [makes sounds] and what you’re hearing is the shellfish moving or you’re hearing the pebbles turning on the bottom, so lots of sounds connected with diving.
And then the biggest sound of all is, when you’re diving in the big blue, so you’re diving at Ras Mohamed in the Red Sea and you’re in the middle of the big blue and the best of all is silence. That’s the best sound.
And when you get the mother dolphin coming and she comes and checks you out, and she swims away and she comes back with her baby for you to sea and takes you off into the big blue- that’s a memorable occasion, and that’s a memorable sound when you hear the dolphin go [makes sound].
