Starting diving
"How did I start diving? I didn’t start diving! It was never a start- it was just part of life"
How did I start diving? I didn’t start diving! It was never a start- it was just part of life, it was just there, it’s always been part of there, the sea’s always been there and I probably had one of the best childhoods that anybody could ever have had. I had a great father, he was a great hero of mine. I have two heroes- one is Winston Churchill and one is my father, Stan Holford.
And we started diving just because it was there and it was just the thing to do so from the age of seven, eight, my brother and I, Karl, we’ve always dived, we’ve always been in the water here.
