"You’ve got to be thinking all the time, “how we can raise some more money?”"
You’ve got to be thinking all the time, “how you can raise some more money?” you know. One of the things that Brian, who’s the lifeboat operations manager…Brian and I thought of a number of years ago was the Christmas cards. We’ve raised thousands over the years. Basically we’ll come up with an idea as to what the card’s going to be, or it might be a local artist who will come up with a picture or otherwise and we’ll say “yeah, we’ll use that as a card.” And then off we’ll go and we’ll do famously with these cards as there are people waiting for these every year. It’s not always a design that people like because design is something, as you know, is a personal thing but what I can tell you is that we’re selling somewhere in the region of, well this year, I think we sold somewhere in the region of 16 to 17 thousand cards.
