Starting surfing
"One of my best friends was surfing and he said, “oh, you should really have a go”"
One of my best friends was surfing and he said “oh, you should really have a go,” so I bought a second hand wetsuit and an eighth-hand surfboard off the local butcher. He actually used to shut up, shut up his butcher shop, take his cleavers home and go to work on a piece of foam and fibreglass and kind of hew out a bit of a, bit of a surfing material, so that’s how my board came about. I started here and just loved it. It was one of those things where the second I started surfing it just seemed to click.
