Starting diving
"How did I first find out about diving? Reading about frogmen during the war"
How did I first find out about diving? Reading about frogmen during the war, the Italians, the French who decided not to fight, Buster Crabbe, reading all those types of books, the experiments with the human torpedoes, the X-Craft, God they were all things in my imagination that I wanted to do in the future. So everything there was to read on the subject, I saved up and bought and read and developed the skills of diving from there which have stood me in awful good stead for the rest of my life.
