Environmental conditions in the North East
"I think the conditions on the North East coast are pretty good now"
I think the conditions on the North East coast are pretty good now. All the sewage, all the sewage has been, the Tyne has been dredged, all the sewage pipes have been redone, the beaches have all got blue flags, so they’ve made it as clean as possible, as clean as it possibly can be, so I’m pretty happy with it and I’ve been in the sea all my life and I haven’t had any problems with any germs or anything like that.
