"Sounds? The occasional sound of the Stanley bell"

Sounds? The occasional sound of the Stanley bell when somebody strikes it, which is the bell that was brought off the first wreck that was in the brigade, although not formed, it was formed because of the wreck of the Stanley off the Black Middens. The bell is hanging in the hall now and every so often somebody will try and jump up and hit it with their head- hit the toggle with their head so they can make it ring. That’s something that you hear. Shanties- there were some, or still is, some very good singers in the brigade.
