Santa and his helpers will be dropping in to some of the region's museums this year:
3 & 10 December
Great North Museum: Hancock
Meet the Great North Santa in our Victorian themed Mouse House Gallery. Places cost £5 per child, including a gift. Click here to book!
3-4, 10-11, 17-18 December at 10am, 11.30am, 1pm & 2.30pm
Stephenson Railway Museum
Join Santa on board our festive train for a magical adventure with songs and storytelling, a gift from Santa, a mince pie and a drink! Click here to book (tickets cost £10).
3 December, 11am - 1pm (drop in)
Monkwearmouth Station Museum
Join Santa in the newly developed sidings area of the Museum. Meet Victorian characters from the Museums's heyday. Free craft activities for children and a gift from Santa!
10, 12 - 16 December
Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens
Come and see the Christmas fairy in our grotto, and send a Christmas wish to Santa.

Drop in to the Museum for magical stories and songs with Santa's elves!
