Glynn Goodrick by AmyGlynn develops new websites and interactive displays for the Museum. He does all the photography and looks after the computers. Glynn used to be a proper archaeologist. He really misses digging but only on sunny days! Glynn loves teaching students. One day he was so excited about teaching that he forgot his keys and the students were all locked out. He had to break into his room and since then no one trusts him with keys, especially Lindsay his boss!

Favourite Artefact
Glynn's favourite is the altar to the three lamiae (witches). The inscription reads LAMIS / TRIBUS which means 'To the three witches'. He thinks it's very mysterious. Why are there three of them? Why don't they have names?
Altar to the three lamiae
You can see the altar on the seal of the Society of Antiquaries of Newcastle upon Tyne. Many of the artefacts in the Museum belong to the Society.
