Jacky Taylor

Jacky is the shopkeeper and she also sorts out all the stock. She tidies up the shop. She’s been working at the shop for over ten years. She works four days a week and four hours a day. She fills in for people when they are sick. She sells rubbers, pencils, books, birthday cards and jewellery. She deals with lots of enquiries visitors have about the Museum or about the University.

Favourite Artefact
Jacky loves this huge silver trumpet brooch on display in the jewellery section of the first gallery. It is about 18cm long and is part of the Aesica hoard found at Great Chesters Roman fort on Hadrian's Wall. She says "Just imagine wearing one on each shoulder to keep your cloak in place! Talk about the bees knees".
