will need:Wheels x4 Grey connectors x10 Orange connectors x14 Yellow connectors x2 Red connectors x6 Blue rods x3 Yellow rods x7 Grey rods x4 Elastic band A short piece of string |

1 Make the ballista base using these pieces. Grey rods x2 Yellow rods x2 Wheels x4 Red connectors x4 |

3 Use these pieces to make the support for the arm of the ballista. Yellow rods x5 Red connectors x2 Orange connectors x6 Loop the top bar through the other end of the elastic band to join the arm to the support. |

4 Join the ballista arm onto the wheel base as shown in the picture. |

5 Tie the piece of string to the top of the ammunition cradle. Place your ammunition in the ballista arm. Your ballista is now ready to fire! |

| PLEASE be careful with your ballista. Don't fire it at another person. The children at West Woodburn used small pellets of paper or polystyrene chippings as ammunition. | |
