will need: A small wooden picture frame. Bees wax Parcel tape An old saucepan A piece of 5mm dowel, the same length as a pencil. Pencil sharpener Sandpaper |

| Ask an adult to help you. | |
| 1. Take the glass out of the picture frame. Turn it over and cover the gap between the backing card and the frame with parcel tape. | |
| 2. Melt the bees wax in an old saucepan over a low heat. | |
| 3. Carefully pour a little wax into the frame. Tilt it to make sure that the card is covered. | |
| 4. When the wax has set, it only takes a minute or two, pour in more wax up to the level of the frame and leave it to cool completely. | |
| 5. Sharpen one end of the dowel into a point with the pencil sharpener. Smooth the other end with sandpaper. | |
