Working with the Collections Access Team


The Collections Access Team at the Regional Resource Centre can help with your visit and supports events or activities within the community.

All activities are free of charge

    * Store Tours

    * Exhibitions

Store Tours
Would you like to see behind the scenes in the museum? You can go on a tour at the Regional Resource Centre and Museums Store to see some of the treasures that are not on public display. Group tours are free of charge and are available by appointment with the Collections Access Team. Evening and weekend tours are available on request as well as weekdays.

Object Handling
Staff from the Collections Access Team can visit your group in your own venue with selections of handling objects from the collections on the following themes:

    * Agriculture
    * Costume
    * Domestic
    * Georgian Life
    * Medicine
    * Mining
    * World War II
    * Photography
    * TV and Radio
    * Mystery Objects

If you would like objects relating to another theme, please ask and we will try to provide this.

Tailor-Made Activities
We can also help with your visit and support events or activities within the community.
Activities can be designed to fit the needs of your group.
