Free Artefact Loans Box Service

Boxes of Delight is our free loans service. Boxes are available for collection from Discovery Museum, Newcastle and from Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens. Ideally our loans boxes are used to support learning either before or after a museum or gallery visit.

We are now taking bookings for the Summer Term 2013.

For Autumn 2013 bookings please contact us from Monday 3 June 2013.

  • Advanced booking of at least two weeks is essential - the service is very popular!
  • Loans boxes are free to borrow and are available for up to four weeks.
  • Boxes are available to schools and community groups throughout the North East only.
  • They must be picked up and returned to the venue they were borrowed from.
