Washington 'F'  Pit is open to schools for one week each year.

Singing Through History
26 September – 30 September 2011
Tour the engine house at Washington ‘F’ Pit and examine artefacts connected with mining history.  Learn songs and listen to stories of life down the mine with local historian and folk singer Keith Gregson.
