  KS1 & KS2

  These practical hands on sessions are based on our permanent exhibition Designs for Life and our unique handling collection. They consider the contribution design makes to our lives by exploring a range of historical and contemporary objects in the galleries. 

  KS3 & KS4

  Older students work in teams to develop a design solution for a fictional client, based on the objects in the gallery. The workshop combines observation, object handling, drawing, discussion and problem-solving. They develop their design vocabulary, evaluation, research, critical and design thinking skills.
